So now, it’s really down to the wire. We’ve found a few affordable places that we could move to that are in good neighborhoods, with great landlords/management offices. The problem? We’re breaking lease to move, which means that we’ll be paying rent in two different places at once, as well as paying for the security deposit. 

And what’s more, to even apply to these places after we’ve seen them, there are ridiculously expensive application fees, that would eat up all of the money we currently have, which means that we can’t even apply. Most of them are fees charged per applicant, and since there are two of us, the fees skyrocket. 50 dollars, 80 dollars, 75 dollars. Just to apply to live in these places. Not to mention once we move, we still have to get the power turned on, and there’s a deposit for that too. 

Not including the rent and bills at our current place, we’re looking at around $800 in moving fees. That includes the security deposits, application fees, costs of moving, and power bill deposits. 250$ and up for some security deposits, plus the first month’s rent, plus the power bill deposit, plus the cost of hiring movers? that’s super expensive. 

Even if you don’t have anything to donate, a kind word, some encouragement that this is something we can accomplish, would be nice.
